Help Striving Readers Focus on ELA News Articles Better with Focused Reading Mode

We are excited to announce our updated read aloud tool that now includes text highlighting and reading speed. It is also now available across all Daily Juice and searched articles, Extra Juices, Vocabulary and Quote of The Day. Now when students select the “Listen” button underneath the article or the headphone icon, they will see a toolbar at the bottom of the screen with multiple controls. Students will have the option to select the highlight button, which will highlight the text as it is read aloud so they can follow along. Students can also adjust the rate at which the text is read and pause and stop the read aloud at any time.
