Short Walk-through Videos
Understand how The Juice assists students to become interested in learning and building their literacy and thinking skills. The Juice is designed to help middle and high school students improve reading comprehension, vocabulary, quantitative reasoning, and other essential skills. We accomplish this by providing fresh, relevant, engaging content each day that students want to consume. It is not re-published from other sources but, instead, produced by our award-winning education and writing team. The Juice is written at four different reading levels so you can differentiate instruction to meet students where they are, regardless of ability.
Building literacy in your classroom doesn’t have to be a daunting, task. An easy way to get started is to incorporate daily reading practice into your instruction. The Juice features content that covers many topics. Here we show just a few. Teachers can quickly find content that resonates with student interests and gets them excited about reading. And all Juice content is easy to consume since most articles are around 250 words. It is accessible to all and builds reading confidence—no more students complaining about long articles and pretending to read.
Every day, the stories written by The Juice are carefully sourced and scrutinized by a team of award-winning journalists and educators who use hundreds of unique news sources. We work hard each day to ensure that stories in The Juice are well-written, carefully selected, and provide a timely, valuable resource for your students.
Each story contains a standards-aligned assessment question. Learn how we construct them.
This video explains how we adjust reading levels so that students from a 5th-grade level up to the twelfth grade have access to the same material. Our story creation process goes through several steps before it is published.
