Your students will look forward to reading the stories we compose because they help them know more about events unfolding around them. Students read engaging, relevant short stories (usually around 250 words each), answer carefully constructed standards-aligned questions associated with each story, learn new vocabulary, and are challenged to think critically about what they have read.
